Gate 13
About Gate 13
Gate 13 is the keeper of memory and the listener of stories — the G Center gate that receives and holds the confidences, experiences, and secrets of others without judgment. This gate bears witness to humanity: it does not analyze or advise, it simply receives and holds. Ra Uru Hu described Gate 13 as a sacred witnessing function — the memory keeper of the collective who holds stories in trust until the right time to return them. Gate 13 belongs to the Collective Circuit (Abstract/Sensing sub-circuit) and carries Cyclical frequency — a rhythm that reflects on past experience and holds it for future transmission. It forms the Channel of the Prodigal (13-33) with Gate 33 (Retreat) in the Throat Center. Gate 33 provides the voice that knows when to share; Gate 13 provides the vast holding capacity. Together they create the cycle of listening, storing, and eventually articulating the lessons of collective human experience. Defined — With Gate 13 defined, people intuitively trust this person with their secrets and memories. The key is holding what is given in trust without absorbing it as one's own experience. Undefined — With Gate 13 open, the person deeply absorbs others' stories and may carry emotional weight long after sharing. The wisdom is witnessing without being transformed by what is held.
